FAQs

How long does install take?

Installation time depends on the type of sauna.  Freestanding saunas take about 1 day to install.  Custom-built saunas usually take 3 to 5 days, while outdoor saunas generally take 2 to 3 days.

We offer a full supply-and-install service for all types of saunas and steam rooms.

Space and ventilation requirements vary based on how many people you want the sauna to accommodate and where it will be installed.  Saunas can be designed for one person or larger groups. The final size is determined by the space you have available, whether indoors or outdoors, and we will advise on the best fit for your area.

The electrical requirements are determined by the size and power rating of the sauna heater. We provide the full specifications to your electrician to ensure the installation meets safety and performance standards.

Yes. We provide ongoing maintenance either onsite or in our workshop. All saunas include a 1-year warranty, during which servicing is free. After the warranty period, a call-out fee applies along with any costs for replacement parts if needed.

  1. Finnish sauna:  A traditional sauna using a hot-rock heater, designed for higher temperatures and a dry heat experience.
  2. Bio sauna: A sauna with a high humidity and slightly lower temperature.
  3. Infrared sauna: Uses light to heat your body directly rather than heating the air. This type of sauna is sometimes called a far-infrared sauna. “Far” describes where the infrared waves fall on the light spectrum. This creates a deep, penetrating warmth at lower ambient temperatures.
  4. Salt brick sauna: Features salt bricks or panels that help create a humid microclimate rich in salt particles. Salt is a natural hygroscopic, meaning it attracts moisture. The moist heat from the sauna triggers the ionisation process, releasing negative ions, often described as “vitamins of the air.”
